The thermometer is just about to fall into single digitS' and I'm just about to do some stretching with the exercise guru on teevee.

Daily sunlight is now at 2 hours beyond what it was during the depths of the winter solstice. Before we can get another 2 hours of daylight, of course, we will fall into daylight savings time. That will put our mornings right back into February darkness and our kids outside waiting for the school bus in pre-dawn cold.

A snowy week forecast to begin just about time for the day shift to get off work this afternoon ... groan. Gonna get this tired frame out of the lazy boy. Otherwise, there is no hope ...

Okay ..

.

. . I was out in the sunshine (!) ..

.

.. had to park several blocks from my destination because the parking areas were in the shade and covered with about 8" of ice from what was once a snow plow berm, walking in the wind to the building ..

.

.. but it was sunny!

Now, not another peep outta me for the remainder of the day about winter weather or impending changes to the clock.
