No matter how many times I upload a edited copy of the index.html file. It doesn't change anything. It's almost as if there is no overwritting of the current page that on the server.

@Bluejay77 i just e-mailed you both files i can get.

i noticed when looking at them that the one file is smaller in size, but scaled to show larger on the screen:

so i would go with fullsize-6.jpg

as for what you are seeing when uploading... filezilla should let you delete the file in the directory you are looking at on the server without deleting your local copy and then when you upload again it should go.

perhaps you have it set up to replace only if the size is different and it is the same size or something like that? by deleting it from the already uploaded directory you will get a new file uploaded for sure.

Clicking through the site, everything seems to be showing up fine for me now (both the header and the other images). The title on the home page was a bit wonky for a minute, but maybe you fixed that while I was clicking through the other pages.

In post #1000 I was talking about the sizes of these different runners, I thought Gigandes were big but I think Pieky Jas is somewhat bigger. Here's a comparison, mind you the Gigandes on the left are from my cooking jar they're still pretty big but not the biggest seed I have. The Piekny Jas on the right make them look like midgets but they are no fatter than the Gigandes.

I'm attempting to germinate some of these bulk bought Piekny Jas, the gal that bought them got one maybe two to germinate, she sent me a lot of beans so I can make several attempts.

I'm not sure size is a reliable way to determine if a bean is a common or runner species. Armenian Giant is about as big as a Gigantes (as far as I remember) when it is well grown but is clearly a common bean. And I am sure somewhere out there is a runner bean with very tiny seeds (wild P. coccineus?)

Agreed... I have common beans as large as runner beans (Bird Egg #3), and runner beans that are small(er) seeded (such as Sunset). Culture & climate can play a role also; runner beans are better adapted (and healthier) in the Maritime climate of the Pacific Northwest, than they are in my warmer Midwestern climate. My Gigandes don't (yet) fill out as much, and look more like the beans on the right. But come to think of it... the Piekny Jas in the photo actually look more like limas, in their flatness, and the way the ends bend toward the hilum. The truth might only be known when they germinate.

Do they have Lima's veining pattern? That is do the veins on the seed coat radiate out from the hilum like wheel spokes?

If they do they are so faint I can't see them, doesn't matter now as they are germinating and from what you can see they're Limas not runners. back to the drawing board,

I still have a few of the real deal in the mail so all is not lost. Now,@HmooseK no gloating just because you already have yours.

They are a lot smaller bean than what I originally had. So who knows. What I originally had may not have been Pienky Jas.

Received what I believe to be the Piekny Jas runner I was looking for. Now they have germinated they are potted up and sitting on a heat mat, these are comparable in size to the Gigandes I have.
