Hi ya’ll!... I live in a little community between Houston & San Antonio that consists of only a Country Store & VFD. We are cattle ranchers on 496 acres. I do have a vegetable garden year round, but my favorite hobbies are.... 1) My Heirloom Rose Garden w/ 54 different rose bushes, & a huge variety of perennials....; 2) A small orchard we have that I enjoy tweaking my Grandfather’s recipes for homemade wine. I was attracted to this website due to all the members willingness to participate in helping one another with their advise & experiences.
Happy Gardening to all......

Hi Kathy and welcome! Glad you joined us. This is a very caring, knowledgeable group who loves helping each other out. I'm sure you'll fit right in. I must tell you that I'm always jealous of people who have big spaces to garden in. Unfortunately I have to cram as much as I can in a small city lot and my poor chickens don't get to free range. I too love roses. My favorite is Sharifa Asma. Do you have that one?

Mary
