It still looks like a great place to ride. I don't blame you for kissing Luke, he's a sweetie! :love

Oh it's a great place to ride. A lot has been logged, but there's more that hasn't and it's full of single track trails that are twisty narrow green tunnels with duffy footing. Fun to trot!

Bay if you ever come to Idaho we can go on some awesome rides!

The bloom season for syringa will be soon at an end.

Nearer the shoreline would have been better. Certainly, it won't be commonly found under a tree canopy. It likes the basalt cliffs and rubble.

You may want to check those cutover areas for morel mushrooms, early next spring :).

That's what I hear. There's a lot of slash piles that have been burned in Farragut and in the woods. I understand those are prime morel growing sites too.

Yes burn areas are prime mushroom hunting spots. A job I worked a few years ago was near a wildfire burn area, they had tree planting crews working the burn and staying close to our work area. They were finding boxes full of mushrooms, they told me that was pretty normal for them. I used to find some around here in after they were burning slash, but haven’t went hunting for several years.you can buy them on CL if you have a bunch of extra money laying around.

Awesome! I haven't ridden for 2 years due to health reasons, but I hope to improve and am actually taking a job as an equestrian center manager at the end of this summer. It means moving and leaving TheMan in Oregon, but he promises to follow when he retires. My cowpony, Wimpy, and 23 year old Mister will be coming with me. I hope they like it as much as I know I will! fullsizeoutput_501.jpeg
