My technique to see mites:

Stare at a speck to see if it moves. If it doesn't move after 30 seconds, shift gaze to another speck.

Feel "accomplished" to have seen them in the photo but it did require enlargement ;).

i didn't see them until after i had the pictures uploaded to computer and even then i didn't notice the ones in the center of the flower until after i had edited and posted it to the web-site.
