I'm thinking you should just buy a flatbed and take the worry out of driving your old Dodge. You could just transport it everywhere.

Or better yet, get your nephew to drive the flatbed and you can sit in your truck and wave.

I may have been out in the sun too long...

You are already into more than you anticipated. See it through, drive it 10+ years, then figure your investment as it will still be worth something-probably close to what you will have in it.

New vehicle-$35,000, cost/year $3500 not counting repairs that hit the day after warranty ends...... end of 10years, that vehicle worth couple thousand at best.

Hang in there, there is light at end of tunnel. Vehicles are a money pit.

now thats the truth ..
just got 2019 tags for my truck it says appraised value of my truck is 2,560.00 and i just put a 3700.00 transmission in ... we both had a good laugh
