i'm making lima beans this morning. they already smell so good. nothing complicated, just simmering in water like i do most beans. when they're done i usually don't add much else either than a little butter or when we make blonde burritoes some cheese and whole milk yogurt.

I am sure you know that you have some cabbage loopers hidden in them. I chop them up into florets, soak them in warm water and slat. I put weight on them to keep them from floating. Clean them carefully and then take off your glasses when you eat them. I blanche and freeze the extra. Cauliflower freezes really well.As always , I am JEALOUS.

I figured once I roast them everything gets cooked. :p Never have enough to freeze. There are always special people to give one too.
