Wonder if a PO box might help????
A friend lost a LOT of packages that the tracking said had arrived at the local PO but never made it to her box. She suspected the delivery person was keeping them - probably from everyone on the route - but the PO wouldn't do anything about it. She got a PO box near her work and had all online purchased packages delivered there - problem solved.
I do have a P. O. Box. Problem was right box number, wrong city. Says it was sent back but yet its not showing in the system.:idunno

Buy online, pick up at store.

Only works if you only by from chain stores, not people. 99% of what I buy is eBay Etsy or some other one source place.
I Do do that for a few things, if there is a store branch near me (my Kinokuniya orders for example) but it isn't feasible for most things.

Sometimes you develop a real working relationship with a rural mail carrier. I remember when I was little, my mom could attach a nickel to a letter and the mail carrier would put a first class 5 cent stamp on it and send it on its way. And of course, she could leave money and a note for any combination of stamps. Ahh, the good old days.:\

I remember that. Now its not safe. People come along and steal packages right off the porch even though you have cameras.

Sooooo....Baker Creek resent my order. I checked the status and its being sent to the wrong address.....again! I have shipping alerts sent to my phone this time and called the P. O. to let them know. They told me to call when it shows it got there and theyd hold it. I sure hope so. I told Baker Creek not to send again til I made sure I got this one. No reason they should be out again.

Got my seeds tiday from Baker Creek. This time I had alerts sent to me so I knew exactly when it got there. I called them and confirmed it was there and that I would come by after work to pick them up. I wanted to make sure they knew I knew they were there. At least this time they didnt get " sent back" only to disappear.

Did you have to drive far to pick up the package? A friend of mine had to drive 25 minutes for a package that should fit in his post box. Logically he wasn't too happy about it and let then send it back.

Yeah, but just ten minutes from my work. I had to go get it so they wouldnt send it back because when Baker Creek resent my order, even after verifying the correct address with them over the phone, they sent it to the wrong city, again! Oh, well, I finally got it.
I cant believe the post office couldnt put your friends package in his box. Thats just lazy.
