Good to know!
What is YOUR solution to how we can fix the climate?

I believe that we were told that there was only a short amount of time left for the planet. I know that in 1981 we were told that by the 2000 Island nations would be under water as well as our coastlines and we only had a short time left to survive. In the early 2000's Al Gore told us that our future was grim and TODAY, we are being told that we only have 12 years left and that means that by 2031 the world will end. Will we revisit this issue then and announce that we have been given a 12 year extension?
You SEE, JUST BC it is popular and PC to believe that people have created a climate that will kill us, does not mean that it is so. I tire of the lectures, esPECIALLY since China daily contributes to air pollution, as well as India, and we cannot force either of them to comply. It is ALWAYS Americans who are evil and selfish, and ONLY by paying the government a carbon tax can we fix it. How does the action of taking my money clean up any pollution?
I guess I don't have enough of a "scientific mind" to understand this, but I am open to an explanation.
I believe in personal responsibility and in action.
Notice that I did not disagree by calling you "irrational." I believe that God will take care of us and clean up our messes on HIS planet, bc he is the only entity with that ability.
Science is imperfect and the USA once believed that different races were inferior and called That Science.
You should not be offended bc somebody disagrees with you.

It must be very relieving to know that God will fix all our mistakes for us, thus we bear no responsibility for our behavior and have no obligation to act.

If climate change is not real, pray tell what messes god needs to clean up for us?

Today's weather is glorious!
We are having a run of sunny warm days, 62 on my home thermometer yesterday! Makes me giddy.

There are still piles and piles of snow to melt off, and there could still be more snow for us before it's a sure thing, but the birds are singing their heads off and I saw my first little Snowdrops peeking out from under a 3' pile of snow at the edge of the sidewalk.
Happy happy. :)

Climate change has always been ~ we can effect micro climate ~ heating and cooling will continue with or without us ```
Truckee, is many times the coldest spot in the nation ~ if we painted it Black and stopped the snow ~ I'll bet we might make a slight change ```

Snowed last night ```

a small change by 7+ billion people and all their secondary effects can add up...

consider this:

imagine all of the areas surrounding those little forests could one day be reclaimed and the place much cooler and wetter and better off than by what they've done to it up until now... 1500yrs is a blink to planet erf, but the many animals we share it with deserve a fair shake and so do we...

I tried to work outside yesterday - 30 degrees. I lasted one hour, till the wind kicked up, then I retreated indoors and admitted defeat. I still moved some seedlings into larger containers and planted more seeds.

going to be windy and cold here today. the high in the mid 30s, gusts to 30mph. not a day i'll be doing much outside other than getting the papers.

i have plenty to keep me busy inside. :)

the whole week looks to be cool enough overnight and some nice days but otherwise what i would consider a normal early spring/late winter mixed bag.
