@seedcorn, we do not go to Seattle much anymore since it started its downhill turn. But when we go we always make sure and eat at the crab pot a fresh seafood joint down on the boardwalks below pikes place market. They cover your table with butcher paper cook all the seafood together and dump it in the middle of the table. Another place we really like there is the Woodland Park Zoo, it a really nice zoo that you can spend an entire day exploring. You should really spend some time at pike place market , go to fish market and watch them toss 25 pound fish around and somehow never drop the slippery things. Taking the train sounds like an adventure itself, my stepmother takes the train from Spokane to the Dakotas and Minneapolis every other Summer to visit family. She enjoys the train ride, so I am sure you will also.

2 days in, my legs feel like crap. We walked to the zoo (up hill both ways) walked the zoo-its nice. Walked the arboretum-really nice. Went to dog beach so her dog could swim. Another park (all up hill) where a old power plant was. Walked to fish ladder-run hadn’t started yet. Market for lunch-great food. I’ve eaten Vietnamese, Indian and today Greek. Tonight walking to the FINN food truck-fresh seafood. All in all my legs are SORE....& I thought I was in decent shape.

Great time. Today aquarium and Pikes market. Pikes market was OK but NOT what I expected. Found a out of the way seafood place that was GREAT.....

Tomorrow more walking and eating Turkish restaurant. Good thing I’m walking as I’m eating more than normal. DD had to try4 sample chowders. I ended up eating 2 as she didn’t like them. This is after seafood lunch......

Uh oh ...

You realize that we moved out of a month with an "r" three weeks ago!

Everything should be okay ... just remember not to pronounce it "chowda." As long as you are in Warshington
