nephew passed away after sudden illness/unexpected complication from something as simple as a sprained ankle. went to ER and they said "This isn't right." and had to open up the ankle but it was full of infection and they couldn't do much to knock it out, but perhaps the knocking out released too many toxins into the blood. his family was with him and he was able to say good bye, but from ER to passing was 19hrs. that's so crazy - wondering if there was infection already going in there and the injury was just a result...

he was a troubled soul/spirit but he was also a lot of joy and light to his siblings and neices/nephew. my sister is coping, his dad is not doing well with pneumonia and other complications. i worry about his sister who is also troubled in that i hope this doesn't set off a chain reaction of some kind.

RIP Angelo

nothing really at such a distance here ourselves (we're in the mid-west and they're out in the SW). we just listen and cry - just found out a few minutes ago. they'll have a memorial service for his birthday this summer and likely will drive for that, but not sure what will happen.

he had his family with him in the end so that is about as much closure as they could get with something so quick.

i worry most about his sister who is also somewhat of a troubled soul/spirit - i hope this won't set off bad chain reaction with her - she's struggling to keep things stable.
