Hello y'all 
I'm Michelle and I currently reside in north Alabama ( and I also suck at introductions!).
I absolutely love gardening and try to do one every year. For several years it's been container gardening on apartment patios but this year I've been lucky enough to have a house with plenty of gardening area. I'm using raised beds made out of wood planks since I did not have the time to work the clay soil of the south (ugh).
Even though I've gardened for many years I still consider myself a newbie because I usually just pot, throw in fertilizer and water/love and let the plants do their thing.
I have never used pesticides and usually go through the plants daily to ditch bugs, but this year I planted way to much and will need to find a new solution.
I absolutely love trying new pants and would love to find people to trade seeds with!
The plant loves of my life are basil because I love all the different varieties and passion flowers

Welcome to the forum, glad you found us! 
I pick them up with a stick and toss to the chickens. 
Glad to have you here. My husband is from Killen, Alabama, just outside of Florence. He's been in Texas long enough to be a Texan now, LOL.
