I'm thinking about how to ask about that, "oh, I didn't really like it but maybe I can harvest it sooner if'n you have any leftover seed that I can get from you." No. That's not how to ask ...

ha, if i knew what you were talking about and had some seeds i'd surely give some to you. :) i don't know many gardeners who are not happy to share seeds and talk about gardens and plants. :)

yeah, the leaves can stick to things too, when they start falling and are dry sometimes i can track them around. they aren't that much fun to get out of socks either at that stage...

@ducks4you, to me chard tastes more like beets/beet greens than spinach. at least the red variety reminds me more of beets. the other colors seem to have different flavors of their own, but i've not grown any for a few years so i can't recall or place what the different colors other than red taste like.

ha, yeah, i tend to get rather muddy at times. the hole i dug this morning was muddy at the bottom. i use two pairs of shoes when gardening so i can put one in the bucket before walking on the pathways.

as for the rest of it, that is what a washing machine, sink and shower are for. :) i'll be doing all of those today.

have another bucket of cucumbers to turn into pickles and it will be too hot outside to do much so a good afternoon project. maybe it may rain too...
