DH just brought me a handful of flowers from the lot/garden where we keep a lot of the bees. In this handful was: larkspur, Queen Anne's lace, Russian sage, cat mint, Indian blanket, yellow and orange butterfly weed, purple coneflower, yellow coneflower, black eyed Susan, gray headed coneflower, a sun flower and cock's comb.

That buzzing-noise means something. You don’t get a buzzing-noise without its meaning something. If there’s a buzzing-noise, somebody’s making a buzzing-noise, and the only reason for making a buzzing-noise that I know of is because you’re a bee. ~ A.A.Milne

It's National Honey Bee Day !
