No I do not sell them. There are not enough of the Kutasi Princess seed to sell as of now.

You could go to the Heritage Harvest website in Canada. They sell Stoltzfus and compare your seed to what they have pictured. It might help. https://www.heritageharvestseed.com/Bean-Seeds-All-Varieties-c24141187?offset=96

i get a lot of spin offs from the Top Notch beans that i've grown for many years now. when i try to grow them out most of them are not all that good as wax beans. what i hope eventually to do is to find any wax bean i can which has a completely different pattern on the seed so i can grow those instead because while Top Notch has been my favorite so far perhaps there are other wax beans out there which are also as good or better. i've tried a lot of different wax beans so far with none of them ending up being as good but of course taste and texture are personal things.

Flowerbug, we have many cultivars of wax beans in Poland. If you would like to try them, I will gladly send you some. You won't find nice, colorful seeds among them, because most Polish varieties have white seeds. For Poles, utility values are more important than appearance. It is similar with dry beans.

Thank you, Bluejay. Unfortunately, Heritage Harvest does not ship seeds outside of Canada. Stoltzfus String also has Eleanor from Great Lakes Staple Seeds, so I won't have a problem getting a new seeds sample. I have already received some nice beans from her.

thank you for the offer @Artorius but i'm really after beans i have a chance of visually tracking other than what i already have. i'm not a fan of plain white beans - the area i live has a large amount of production of Great Northern Beans and Navy Pea Beans which are plain white and i grew up eating a lot of them and i don't really need to eat any more as there are so many alternatives to try out instead. that said i already have someone sending me a white wax bean to try for this coming season (Galopka i think it is called) so that will be plenty enough.

i've also tried Cherokee wax beans but wasn't too impressed by them - at least they had the black seeds. i'm sure over the next 10yrs i'll have a decent chance of seeing some Purple Dove and Top Notch crosses show up and those would be distinctive enough to work with. we'll see what happens.

i think by now i've looked through @Bluejay77 's collection and tried out most of the wax beans he might have in there. i'll keep looking and hope i can come up with some new ones.

I understand you very well. I also got bored of beans with white seeds, because I have them all around and they all look similar. However, every year I grow two or three varieties and keep their seeds. It is strange.

I have Kutasi Princess seeds. I was just looking for more. I originally bought them from Joseph Simcox via The Rare Vegetable Seed Consortium. I bought more via Oro seeds. My first year that I grew them, they germinated and flourished, and then surrounded by poison ivy that I am highly allergic to. Then I realized how rare they were. My second round was last year with amazing germination. All of them got wiped out by deer. I tried to start a program with sharing with other fellow local gardeners to try a project to preserve and thrive them. If this group is trying to do such a project of thriving and preserving them, I would love to help! I have about 50 seeds.

If you have 50 seeds then you have more seed than a single sample that I send out. If you have deer problems then you need to do something to stop them from feeding on your gardens. Deer like beans and once they find a spot they like to feed they will keep coming back for more and more often. I had a garden spot that was occasionally visited by deer for two growing seasons. Then the third season they chewed down an 3200 square foot bean garden to just about 2 inches above the soil. There was not a single bean plant they didn't chew to almost nothing. I stopped gardening in this spot because of the deer.

Yes, wouldn’t that be wonderful. Perhaps eventually DNA testing will become more available and origins and development of varieties will be at our fingertips! A little time to wait though, I imagine!
