that's unfortunate! they don't show as being out of stock so i would send a second inquiry along with asking if you can send them some $ and a pre-addressed return/postage paid envelope so they don't have to figure out how to do all that or to do any currency conversion. it might smooth the pathway. :)

if anything i can also ask them to save some seeds for me if they have any to exchange at the upcoming seed swap.

, it would be great if you could help me get Ocean View bean. Of course, I will cover all costs, but I can do it only via PayPal.

I can tell you how Ocean View came about. After the summer of 2016 and after shelling all that summers beans I had some outcrossed seed that I wasn't interested in growing. So I kept putting that seed in a large plastic container. I took that container in early 2017 to Florida with me and made bean soup out of some of that seed during that winter I stayed with a frined in Florida. In April I headed home but my one stop on the way was the Pikeville, Kentucky Seed Swap. I was just an observer that year so see how it went. I stayed at one of the hotels in Pikeville and so did most of the people who sold seed at the swap. Among those people were one's that I knew from some Facebook groups that I'm on. After the swap we had dinner together at one of the town's restaurants. After that we all met in the hotel lobby socializing for hours. I decided to bring out my plastic container of outcrossed beans and let everyone pick through them and take what they wanted if anything. Ben Cohen was one of those there that night and he picked out this bean that is now Ocean View. I have no idea what the seed mother of that bean was. On Facebook he stated that his son has grown the bean and his son feels the bean is stable and named it Ocean View probably because of it's bluish colorings. I have even purchased a sample of the bean from Small House Farm. So that is the story of how Ocean View came into being.

oh, sorry, i don't have PayPal, perhaps that is why they won't reply, like me they may be keeping things simple.

if you want the beans follow my suggestion above. :) i won't be seeing them at the seed swap until the end of February.

Happy New Year Everyone ! Here's Hoping that we all have great bean growing weather this year in 2020.

yes for sure Russ! :)

all in all last season was not a complete bust, i got almost every bean i planted some kind of return and then a ton more of things i didn't expect.

last night i was trying to get pictures of Monster and Monster Children, but as usual the pictures i got didn't do them justice. i need to learn a lot more about photography and lighting...

I just looked up Small House Farm on Google to see what the ordering procedure was for Ocean View. I got a sample of it and they do have Pay Pal. When Small House Farm came up on a Google search I clicked on Small House Seed Collection. Then the first thing you see on the top of the page is Beans and the second one is Ocean View which you click on. Then you can click on add to cart. Then to the right of that is a check out button. Then billing details comes up and after you fill that form in the Pay Pal button is on the bottom to the right side of the page.

Hope that helps. Anyone shouldn't have a problem ordering the bean unless they don't ship the beans overseas.

@Artorius I will send you my seed sample if you want. I paid $8.70 with the beans and mailing. Postage to Europe would be $14.50 USD. I send beans a number of times a year to people in Europe. If you want me to send my seed sample to you I have Pay Pal. My ID is upadam@comcast.net. $23.20 would be your total.
