As a kid, I didn't live where there were sidewalks.
There was an indoor place about 5 miles away in Ashland where we could rent skates. I bet Mom was happy that it wasn't any closer

I also lived in places with no sidewalks for roller skating. My mom would drive me to the roller rink to skate with friends occasionally.As a kid, I didn't live where there were sidewalks.

I remember we had a large barn at one time that had a dirt floor. I always dreamed of hanging a disco ball from the ceiling in there and pouring concrete floors!!!!!
