This is my first garden. So far we have squash, 3 types of tomato, sweet potato, bush beans, and cantaloupe have been planted since this pic was taken. :D

Hi-it looks lovely.
I have a question about your fence.
I am just putting in a garden and I decided to put picket fence around it. PVC picket fence will cost me between $1000-$1500 to buy and install myself. OUCH!
The fence you have is obviously wood. Was it already there or did you just put it up? It kind of looks like privacy fencing I've seen. Can you explain what you used for the panels and how tall they are aprox.?? Kind of hard to tell from pics-but it looks not more than 4' tall-did you buy short panels or cut them down?
thanks for your help with my fence plans.

It's actually just the privacy fence we had put up when we moved nto the house 2-3 years ago! Sorry I can't be of more help I don't recall how much it cost or anything. Since this picture we have put up rabbit chain link fencing to keep pests away, it is 28" tall.

Is the privacy fence 6' tall? or is it the 28" tall? It looks to be the 6' tall kind?
Sorry-I confused you-I didn't want to know how much to construct as much as I wanted to know specs.
thanks anyway-trial and error here.

Oh! No it's not 6 feet tall.
I'd say its between three and four feet tall. I can jump it so its not that tall! ;)
