DW found a steamer juicer at a garage sale recently for $15. It was in the origional box with all the paperwork and guide. It says this thing has 4 functions Juice extractor, steamer, seafood cooker, and blancher. Has anybody ever used one of these? what did you use it for? If you have used one could you post your favorite recipes or uses for it!!

So, it is kind of a double boiler with it's own heating element? Not clear where the juicer part would come into it....Did you try goggling it? Maybe you can find some additional info on it. I for one, have never seen one. Let us know what you find out- inquiring minds want to know!

As I understand it, the juice is extracted by steam, not mechanically.
I'm no help, I've never used one but I did sort of look into those at one time when I was looking for a juicer.
Seems like the price was fantastic tho', I'd buy some kind of inexpensive fruit and play with it a bit. :)

I borrowed one from a friend last year to make some grape juice. The juice that it makes is more like a concentrate. We didn't like the juice as much as our original recipe, but our friend raves about it. All I can say is give it a try.
