DH made coffee for me but I'm still in bed trying to decide if I want to go outside or clean the house. It is Friday so I must clean the house. I also need to decide on what to make for breakfast. Yesterday was waffles so I might make some potatoes, eggs and toast today.

So hot here and humid. Started watering the garden to keep things alive. Potato plot was tilled and sown with buckwheat and watered. I love using buckwheat as covercrop. It's great for pollinators!

Had sautéed okra and tomato/cucumber Salad with lunch today. So good! DH had tomato and cheese panini with apple sauce I canned last fall. I just love our meals this time of year. So many goodies from the garden!

I am really excited for market today! I had fun filling these baskets at home just to make sure I had enough veggies to fill them up. It was so hot when we harvested these. But I'm glad they are inside and ready for market!

Last year my volunteer qinter squash was all I harvested from.my real patch was buried in weeds and the plants didn't do well at all! I also get plenty of cherry tomato volunteers but never slicing or Roma? It's weird! I also get dill, mustard, bok choy, marigolds, sunflowers, zinnias, potatoes...
