Sorry to yell virus, I'm one of those super paranoid types that exercises excessive caution :) So did it look like a normal plant but just miniature? I do recall once or twice in all my years I've had the odd miniature plant in a row and could never explain it.

I have three locations but only two for tomatoes, I think this year it is less of a choice since the drought seems to have made my mind up for me.

I'd say the stunted plant was likely virus, if you get any like that in future your best to incinerate them roots and all as soon as possible just to be safe so it does not spread.

I will see what I can do. This year my area with dry air is in drought so I might be growing somewhere humid.

Well I'm enjoying the Tomato Art, even if it is culinary torture since my growing season has just started.

My rows are 45 feet long and I normally sow in a block but I will be hand pollinating anyhow so will get a good mix of pollen from each plant on each ear.

Well I checked the Painted Mountain today, at least 250 plants up out of about 300 seeds and still more on the way.

They are fine to be used, no different to using bell peppers at the green stage. They will still be hot even when green.
