    Chicken eggs are so amazing

No. It was in the Bay Area in CA. Winters were cool, but not cold. We had a little hen house for the chickens and that probably kept it a bit warmer. 😊

What are You Eating from the Garden?

Today a good friend brought me some baby carrots and this little cabbage that she grew in her greenhouse! I gobbled down the carrots before I remembered to snap a picture! Lol The carrots were the sweetest I've ever tasted! I'm planning to use the cabbage tonight in an Asian chicken quinoa...

What are You Eating from the Garden?

I ate some sprouts from my kitchen garden yesterday on a fish burger! There were alfalfa, broccoli, radish, and clover sprouts! Yum! In the last 2 years I've probably made 400 small batches! I grow them year around!

    What am I?

I used to think of chickweed as a weed too! I used to throw it in the trash. Then I read it was edible so I tried some. It is SO good on a sandwich in place of lettuce! Especially if you pick it when it's fairly young.
