Today is paint day for us. DH has been rained out, so we are all painting more of the walls getting ready to lay down more flooring. Since we are painting the area that we have stuff stashed to get out of the way, all that stuff is out in the middle of the living room. :barnie

I made homemade beef soup last night with home canned potatoes, green beans & carrots. I also added curly kale from the garden and was yum! Asparagus is growing. We usually eat them raw since not enough at one time to cook. The purple passion variety has a nutty flavor which DH & I like a lot.

None in my area. By the time the storms came through last night, they had weakened. Just slow, steady rain today with the temps dropping. We were just out of the risk area. I don't think Bay's area got any either, but don't quote me on that.

I'm growing moon & stars, Van Doren variety this year. I thought they looked neat, and weren't a large watermelon.

Dang Bay! I hurt my left knee too! DH & I had gone to Mom's to get her suv and put tires on it. Her back latch wasn't shut, so I got out to shut it. I love my cinder block beds. They can be a pain to put in, if you want them all level and such, but well worth it.

I hand wash & use a dishwasher. Pots, pans & anything to big for the dw are washed after using, since they will be needed at the next meal. Everything else, gets rinsed and put in the dishwasher. When I get a full load, they get washed in the evening, air dried over night & put up the next...
