Steve, the Mica Peak I look at is located in Washington. It has a radar station on top. Our neighbor used to work at the station. Long commute, good view. The 'Mica Peak' in Idaho is also known as Signal Point and Shasta Butte. Sounds like it's having an identity crisis :lol:

I am not a compost expert Jonrek, but I have always heard that you should not put meat or fat products into a compost pile. You can use vegetable parings, leaves, garden debris, straw, things like that. Hope that helps. There are many others here who can give you more advice. Welcome to TEG! :)

Hi Thistlebloom, My husband grew up in Bonners Ferry (North Idaho). Both sets of grandparents lived in that area, one set in town, the other up the Yak river. He loves it.
