This rose is seen growing wild all over the Pacific Northwest! I love grabbing the rose hips in the fall and harvesting them for jam! I want to try some in my already potent fresh ginger root tea!

DD came over for dinner last night and she brought 3 ribeye steaks to grill. We had those with asparagus sauteed in butter and garlic! It was SO delicious! Ribeye is one of my favorite cuts! What are your favorite beef cuts!?

Fun fact for St Patrick's Day -- Back in the 60s, Chicago city workers dumped 100 pounds of dye into the downtown Chicago river! The river stayed emerald green for an entire week now this is an annual tradition.
