I fill a large glass bowl with a mix of water, sugar, lemon juice. Then I put a strainer that fits just perfect inside of it.
Immediately after the pears are sliced, they go into the strainer inside the bowl and get swished around a lot in the mix. Then I pull up/out the strainer, shake it a...
When I was little my family would pick / dry pears from our trees.
I didn't do a great job keeping up the tradition with my kids, but we did a small batch last year in our tiny food dehydrator. They enjoyed the process, loved the results, and everyone we shared them with loved them too.
So...
Hmm.... that stars getting over my payscale since the emails are sent from the software through the server and I don't know how I'd track that stuff.
I'll noodle on it and do some digging to see if there's a way... but again, it's tricky when it's relatively isolated to specific individuals.
Sorry you're still having problems.
Since our server is sending emails successfully to other members, I'm not sure what to do. It's possible that for some reason your email provider could be sending our emails to spam or just not delivering them all-together.
Again, it's tricky for us to...
Just FYI: I haven't been able to find any reasons why this isn't / shouldn't be working, but I'll keep digging!
(I've been receiving the emails just fine... even received one on the 17th about a thread I'm subscribed to)
Sorry about the inconvenience!
Server company changed our IP address and I didn't get the memo, so I was in a mad-scramble with helpers to get things resolved.
Basically, the server and software were all fine... just the address changed and the interwebs didn't know how to connect your browser...
Ok, I think it should be fixed / resolved now. If you see the error again, please refresh the page and try again. If it continues, report the details here.
I was so optimistic about my project...
... but I should have left well-enough alone, or at least not messed with all the shoots, and just tested on a couple :(
Almost all of them are dead. A few are kinda holding on, so I'm trying to do my best to keep them alive.
All the videos / articles talk about being REALLY mindful about the water used for these plants.
In the SF Bay Area we don't get a ton of rain this time of year, but we've been getting a few tiny showers.
So, I thought I'd have some fun... and went and put a bunch of bowls / pans to catch the...
I've been reading-up and watching more videos. I *think* I should be ok moving forward since 1) I've kept them mostly alive for 5 years, and 2) I'm going to be more diligent about care. :)
One thing I'm also trying to decide is around propagation and rooting compounds, etc.
I found these two...
From what I read, it was when the water-level was too high on the plant. Submersing the roots was fine, but not high up the stalk.
Ya, once these take-root, I may test-out using some soil.
Hi friends!
(I wasn't sure which thread (ya, on my own forum ) to put this thread... but learned lucky bamboo is a type of water lily, so I figured flowers was closest?)
I received a lucky-bamboo plant from a friend 5 years ago. Surprisingly, I've actually been able to keep it...
Thanks for the post!
I believe the ad-company we use for display ads has a refresh rate set to 30 seconds, and I just verified that with a few ads while I was typing. If you're seeing something different than 30 seconds, then we'll need to determine if that's just happening to you, or also...
