Here’s the paddle ready to go, i’ve got one more small project going then i need to get away from the epoxy for a bit, my sensitivity level can only handle so much these days!
”A garden tool extraordinaire; as an aid to gathering the harvest and capable of shoveling if need be!” 😳
10f, and in 20 more day’s we’ll QUIT losing daylight! Then 60 days after that we’ll be able to feel the heat from the sun! Then after roughly 60 more days i’ll populate the greenhouse then 30 days after that i’ll plant the garden And before you know it i’ll be right back here ordering seeds...
I find fungus gnats to be harder to kill/repel than aphids and have used a number of “remedy’s” to no avail; before finding this stuff. A more refined Neem, not sticky. I hope it does as well in the greenhouse next season...
A dozen or so of these “personal use fishery’s” come to mind around the state. They are heavily utilized by the locals and can be very productive or just a day in the mud.
Last year was my worst in terms of how quickly i caught my fish as it took 5 trips to get the limit of 35.
However; the...
During the “season” i figuratively run from April till freeze-up and am never without something going like a little indoor garden thru the winter.
However; at this time of year i enjoy a break from it and mostly ignore anything to do with gardening. Next years seeds have arrived, which is the...
Hey, hey; i think it’s time for me to break out my “sorry you live in such a hostile environment“ line!
The funny part is I'm the guy with record snowfall and single digits a while back. For the last 3 day’s it’s been 40 day and night, giving me a reprieve on the roof shoveling, for now!
Go...
@flowerbug; Comfrey is so much more and I'm surprised how few folks utilize it! Each year i plant more and currently have over a dozen plants and this year that will over double.
I rely on it as a forage for my rabbits and in season hardly a day passes without it’s use. But back to it’s “mineral...
Kochia (tumbleweed) is the number one thing I DONT MISS about living down in America, or anywhere this vile plant grows. We had it in Texas & N. Dakota and every spring you’d want to claw your eyes out due to it’s allergic itch! I hadn’t thought about it for a long time but just the mention of...
Im in Alaska! “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but new garden zones won’t change me”.
This is just about as useless as Daylight savings time. Some things remain relevant though like; when it’s daylight i can see and when it’s dark, i can’t. Or when it rains i can shut off the drip or...
We certainly do and utilize far more than the fillet’s! Everything else goes in the drum and on-to the garden. Kinda, sorta like one of them symbiotic relationship things!😋
We have that dip net fishery here and each year 4-600 of us converge on the bank, in the mud, in a canoe or a truck...
When they got together in the back yard a little sparing took place between the two Mom’s.
Initial looks can be decieving; these animals are 6 1/2 ft tall at the shoulder. Like @baymule walking up to one of her horses.
