If you want something done right...

Oh she's already browsing for a pattern for slippers and a house coat to go with the pajamas. I think keeping her in fabric is going to be the big problem!

    Looking For My Green Thumb

Hello there. Are you interested in growing these and haven't started yet, or have you tried them and something went wrong? If something went wrong, can you share what happened?

If you want something done right...

I was thinking something simple like that too! She wanted pajamas though, and was undeterred by small things like fine motor skills. She didn't even know how to use a button before she learned how to sew on a button. 😂

If you want something done right...

I did indeed finish the dress my daughter asked for and then another with a matching one for her doll--but I actually came here to crow! My daughter has been keen to learn how to sew since I made a table cloth for her picnic table and she realized all the possibilities. As a firm fashionista...

    Baymule’s Farm

@baymule - I know this is an odd question, but you mentioned stressed sheep don't taste as good. Why is that? What is the difference between stressed and non-stressed animals as far as flavor?

    Baymule’s Farm

hahaha! They're sure something got you! Since we're the only animals who put things on and take things off, I wonder what they must make of a hat. Something is eating your head mom!

    Northern Lights!

I saw it, but because the colors don't show up without a camera I didn't realize what I was seeing! I'm hoping to take a picture tonight so I can see the colors.

    Can you clone tulips?

Thanks! I think I'll take care of it and hope for a bulblet. It's welcome to hang out in my little flower garden as long as it needs to in order to grow big.

    Can you clone tulips?

Is there anyway to clone a tulip? This is my first year planting tulips and this one is so cool. It's got streaky yellow all through it. I'd love to have more of these but I don't know how bulb flowers work.

    A.M. Kuska's 2024 Garden

I worked on my "Tower of Tea" today, a new project. I have lemon balm, camomile, mint, etc. going into a giant stacking container sort of thing. No idea if it will work, but at least I can keep the tower well away from anywhere the mint/lemon balm can spread. I'll take pictures when it's all...

They dig up all those underground grubs though, so fewer other pests during growing season.

    Harold the Rooster

Harold went to a new home today. He is going to be free ranging with some hens in a much bigger pasture. We've had two incidents that make me think he would be better off somewhere else, both involving him flying into the side of the run. He will panic at random times (I think?) and slam at...
