Not really worried about the chive seeds not germinating. Don't really use chives that much. Surely don't want them taking over my property out of control.

Thinking I overlooked a detail in planting chive seed.
From what I have read chives need darkness & 60-70° F to germinate.
My temp was ok, but had them under grow light with the rest of the herbs.
Im assuming that's why seeds did not germinated in 15 days.
Seed pack says germination in 15-21...
Since I don't store any cabbage, collards. Maybe I should just pot mine up. Im only looking to have 2-4 heads of cabbage, collards in spring, fall, & prefer only fresh cabbage, collards to eat.
Maybe save the raised bed for larger crops.
Am I over thinking again?

I did read that moths and aphids could be a problem with cabbage & collards. I was thinking about putting a row cover over them but not sure if that would stop them. But maybe slow them down anyway.

I'm seeing online shouldn't grow cabbage, collards together. Is this true? It is same plant family. Or is it ok long as planted on opposite ends of raised apart with another crop in between?
