Woke up at 2 AM. It’s a full moon, bright outside. Dogs are quiet, no reason for me to wake up, just did, wide awake.

This morning: Ewenique——zero! No lambs! But Ewenique’s daughter, Jet had a single ram lamb last night. He’s a big healthy boy. Granddaughters helped me eat tag him and give him a CDT shot. Jet took him out on the field with the flock and he kept up and did just fine.

No I have never grown micro greens. They look tasty.

My joy in little things for this past week has been that it got above freezing during the day. This coming week it will be above freezing at night, so no more ice. While parts of the country and even northern Texas has had snow, ice and sleet, it stayed right above me and I am grateful.
