    Your Weather 2023

It is 80* today! Which is a heatwave for us. Good thing we have a window ac unit that keeps our bedroom very pleasantly cooled. It's where I read and watch tv so spend plenty of time there. Mary

    Tomatoes for 2023

Last year Praire Fire did really well for me. It's sweet and pretty! Actually all of my tomatoes did really well like Black Krim, Japanese Triefle, Dr. Whycee's Yellow, Terra Cota, and Berkeley Tie Dye. This year none of them are doing as well. Part of the problem is that I moved them...

Had my coffee with collagen and cranberry walnut sourdough toast with peanut butter. Along with cottage cheese and watermelon. My usual breakfast. Decided since I was too full to workout to go work in the garden instead. Working on a flower bed. Cleared out some Japanese anemone that were...

Steve, sounds like your dad made huevos rancheros with the corn tortillas and fried egg on top. Sweet corn tamales are great in the afternoon with a cup of coffee. Mary

Beautiful pics Flowerbug. Is that your garlic drying? I made the mistake of not reading on how to harvest garlic. I hosed off the dirt and left it in the sun for a few days to dry. Well it started getting moldy and soft. I was able to save half of it. Mary

Major, I trim my tomatoes also to 1 leader but mid season I start to slack off. If I trim as much as you my tomatoes get sunscald. BTW I only check notifications when I'm here. Very rarely do I check What's New. I've been missing your posts. Is there a way I can see the notifications...

This is the only way I grow them also. Takes up less space cause I actually remove lower leaves. Also makes it easier for bees to pollinate it. Mary
