    Concerned About Growing Old?

I had one of those pop machines (7-Up) when i lived in the Dakotas. I gutted it removing the racks etc and filled it up with water and raised Minnows in it! The (refrigeration) Compressor still worked and it kept my water temp about perfect!

Go on-line and look, there are numerous extraction processes depending on how the final oil will be used. Co-2 extraction requires very expensive equipment but yields a very pure product. On the other end of the expense scale would be Alcohol which would be in the realm of a home refiners...

And speaking of Cucumbers, we’ve had 4 straight days of sun and 50F which has the Greenhouse out doing itself! I’ve put off shutting it down until i got the plow truck winter ready; which was finished up today, but it’s going to hurt having to pull up those Cucumber and Tomato plants! Looking...

Thanks; The in-door fruits are cleaner (smoother) but the greenhouse fruit is considerably larger, thanks to real light; the Sun! Either way; i’ll put my Cucumbers up against ANY store bought fruit for flavor and all of my friends will back me on that! In years past we’ve put up a dozen or more...

After removing the heads from those last 9 Broccoli, i pulled the stalks and every one of them looked like the first three (i showed a while back) with very little root remaining. There’s a half dozen Kale in this bed as well; which stood up to the wind ok and shows a root ball that should be...

No need, they’ll be gone by spring! In the mean time they’ll be smothered by bucket after bucket of Rabbit poop & bedding and roughly 100 2-gallon buckets on kitchen scraps. Even these last beauties will be found in the Compost after while!

We’ve had a couple dryer days and realizing “any day now” it can turn off unpleasant; i mounted the mower and gathered the leaves! This time of year its never about the lawn but I do hold those leaves in high regard! So, at this point i can say next year’s bin has now been Carbon-aided🙄

I’ve noticed the same thing, Kale’s a little bit like a cat; it’ll do just fine without you, although i hold Kale in much higher regard!🫣

Another day or so and this batch of Lacto bacillus will be ready. Most of the 6 qts. will be added to the Hydroslate drum to aid the breakdown. This drum’s been continually active for the last 4-5 years and it’s a lot like pouring honey right now. Once more of the thick stuff has dissolved...
