Peppers seem to have doubled in size with last weeks heat.
Weededpart of the strawberry patch. It was so hot and humid even at 6pm that sweat was just rolling off me. Not fun but it needed to get done.
Also watered the beans, picked off bunch of June bugs, bean beetles, cucumber beetles and Japanese beetles. Harvested some cucs, squash and basil.

One of the vendors has 5 "hot houses" and he already had ripe tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, eggplants and squash. My plants just started producing cucs and squash. My tomatoes are still green and eggplant hasn't even flowered yet...

I transplamt corn and it always does really well. Just time consuming and since I use soil blocks the roots really love to wander. Good luck with your pproject! What does this corn look like? Sweet corn?
I figure I'd give you all an update about the farmers market. I was one of three vendors but the only one with raspberries and garlic. I met some nice folks and the other vendors were super friendly. One also told me aboit another farmers market in the same county and invited me to go on...
Rained almost all day so went out and picked off Japanese beetles and bean beetles. Everything looks so green and has almost doubled in size with all this rain!
Tomorrow will be my first ever farmers market selling day! Wish me luck! I only have raspberries and garlic.
Finally weeded the asparagus bed! Looks much better and the chickens appreciated the wheelbarrow full of weeds!
I harvested the music and German garlic I am saving for next year's crops. Music did amazing. German hardy did fairly well but not as well as music. I am excited to plant them again...
Transplanted lots of black eyed Susan's and elderberry along the outside of garden fence to create a hedgerow.
Harvested lots of mint, tulsi and stevia to dehydrate.
