I have watched eNOUGH gardening programs to tell you that the experts do NOT have 100% successes!
When somebody tells you to overwinter your peppers, for instance, they expect about 50% success, but do it anyway,
so you are in good company. :hugs
They are ALSO guilty of "this plant just Jumped...
Good soaking rain today!! I think I will have to replant my peas. We had dry weather and winds and even though I started watering there, it might be too late. :( Taking notes this year, so I'm good. I have a stash of 2-3yo Sugar Snap Peas, and the other seeds were cheap and throwaways, so...
I have an adequate supply right now, and I Need the freezer space, so I didn't save the bones from this last turkey.
Our 4th cow went to the locker yesterday. After I finish wiping out to dry my 14 1/2 cu ft garage freezer and DD's move the extras Back to it And after I label the extras "2024"...
They don't look Great, but I would try it anyway. I know that bareroot plants come with the roots looking dead, But there usually is evidence of growth above. Have you tried bending any of the tops? If they don't bend, or, if you cut and there isn't any green, then they are goners.
Everyone needs a little bit of basil in their lives. This has been a seed starting learning experience for me. Good thing I used cheap seeds! The first batch dried out and I had to replant. I have a ziplock bag cover, but it's very wet TODAY, so I will let it dry out a Bit, then cover again.
Actually I phrased my question in the wrong way.
HOW did you keep the weaned lambs on one side, the other sheep on the Other side and deposit the round bale in between them.
BRILLIANT idea...just couldn't see how you did it!
The only thing I would add is 6 month PREEN so you won't have to weed anything that flies by and wants to grow there.
I don't think you Can overthink this!
You are determined to have a good crop of onions this year and you have great preparation!!:hugs
Winter Sowing is "an experience." I have been watering Most of the jugs this whole week.
BAH!!! I should have left the lids on....:th
Next jugs will Have their lids. I have one spinach up, a couple of Onions (Grano), both lettuces, NO shallots,
NO leeks, NO cabbage, NO cauliflower, NO...
I went to a shelter on Friday.
DON'T.DO THIS.EVER.
I brought home a 6mo gorgeous black & cream male GS. He tried to kill one of my cats and attacked my favorite horse IN HIS STALL!!
I housed him on a chain in the other stall and took him back on Monday.
Dog ruined, and not even one year old...
Same thing happened to one of our cats. I didn't get up at 5 AM one morning--slept in--to let her in and then found pieces of her in the yard.
So Sorry!! :hugs
Don't have any hyacinth now, but, if somebody gifts you one, transplant it. It Might not bloom this year, but, if you leave it be, it Will bloom in 2 years and keep coming back and it will multiply.
Beautful @Finnie !
Paternal GF moved from Arkansas when he was 16yo and became a police officer in Philly. I inherited his service revolver and gave it to DH. He says it's a well built firearm.
He was born in 1909 and became an adult in the heart of the Depression.
Toxic family issues, but my mother (who had a...
Here are the tulips I mentioned. See, they are still alive. We will see what happens, but this settles my argument (w/myself)--see one of my favorite t shirts below)--about what to do with my whiskey barrel planter. I Was going to move it to DD's house this summer as an herb planter, but that...
