Interesting. I've heard dandelion jelly tastes a lot like honey. The honeysuckle sounds like a very good idea. I wonder if you could make a tasty wine from the honeysuckle syrup.
*edited to add "tasty" since I know you can make wine from anything...however tasty is a whole different thing*
At our 1st house we had 4 peach trees that produced like gang busters. There were boards with V notches cut into the branches because the peaches were so big, heavy and crazy good. No idea the variety, but they were soooo good.
I think strawberries is a great idea. I'd do a bed of june...
Kings and Texas Reds home well? Strong flyers?
Its not a bad idea I'll have to look into them. I just need them to home well, and be strong flyers. No rollers or fancy varieties that can't get up so a young dog could catch them.
Though it would be pretty fun to race them I won't lie...
@Ridgerunner that's a very cool video thank you. I had read up on a thread on one of the backyard threads about someone trying to bring some tissue mass and faster development by using Cornish X birds. I think he was crossing them with Buckeyes.....not sure though. Maybe it was barred rocks...

Or if you still have rabbits I'd be in there with a cup scooping and spreading it around letting them do its...
That makes so much more sense about the bait and switch on pictures. I've seen some absolutely beautiful pictures but I've always thought the deer and rabbits ate them down and they didn't come back.
Maybe its not the critters but the companies selling me a promise with a picture....
@Gardening with Rabbits we did make our own baby food. We cubed up our bigger veggies and smaller veggies we did whole. We steamed them till soft and then put them into the food processor. I would add the left over water from steaming them to help get the consistency we wanted and then froze...
