Got almost all the plants indoors. The hibiscus claims it can stay out, but it looks like 💩, so, might bring it in, too. The ginseng(?) flower plant has to come in tonight.
Shade hedge cuttings. Idk where tf to plant them. House is 100% full sun, wrapped by gravel.
Polkadot hedges...
Been watching this guy. Unfortunately, he's very late and it's cold out now. Idk if it'll be able to unfurl properly or not. Or if it'll manage to eat and breed now.
Bitty taters, second harvest.
hot ones. Peppers aren't slowing down much
For the chickens
Got far too much in the freezer and husband isn't eating them like he claimed.
Most of what I'll plant next year will be for the chickens. Way too much in the freezer or pickled that'll last...
5 cages wrapped and ready for use. Debating putting tops on them, too. 🤔
One year tree to demonstrate how'd it look in the ground. The bare legs will go, hopefully, all the way into the ground.
The 7 I still need to decide on...They've grown.
Making protective cages for seeds & little trees
The planted ones. That stupid $70 tree...got beat up by stupid sheep. 4yrs and now shorter. Ugh.
Rest growing and doing well.
Been watching it for 2wks, but something went wrong. Dead this morning.
Been raining for 2wks.
8+ feet deep creek, usually 1ft of water. Will see if it broke its banks or not.
Most of the garden has been cleaned up.
Cukes are gone.
Most of potatoes are gone, but put stems back to grow more if possible.
Peppers aren't slowing down yet. Keep getting taller.
The strawberries got moved to the biggest grow bag. Seems they grow very shallow roots.
Bottom right, new...
I now have a lot of seeds!
I'll be making "air pruning" bags for the seeds. In fridge until spring, then potted.
Some seeds I'll plant now, just need to find good markers to find them later and mini shelters so wildlife doesn't eat them.
Disappointing festival. Took forever to get there, almost nothing pawpaw actually available by vendors. Poor planning as well.
But was able to scavange up 10 fruit to plant their seeds!
Took lots of pics to share what they look like in the woods. Out in sun they grow differently.
The wetter spring was fixed, so was able to mow it all. The huge ruts smoothed out some, too. Got close to the weird sinkhole back edge, then in it about 3/4 of the way. That'll flip a tractor. Steeper sides got mowed up near to the rock holes and up near until it got too steep. Another side...
Cameras are so different than our eyes. Everyone has tried taking pics of the giant moon, only to see a tiny dot in the picture! 😅 Such mysteries.
Two days late, now rain all week. Tire went flat again. So annoying. But got a decent amount topped. Was able to get much closer on the dangerous...
Some cool fog pics. Foggy here almost every night and morning.
Of course, with human eyes, the fog is far more dense. A camera is somehow able to see through it far better than we can. So, the pics never turn out as amazing as what you see yourself! 😢
Night, that's the moon.
Morning.
