Just got home.
Ducks stayed out. All other animals have brains. They went in. Squash is shredded, potatoes are flattened, the water and hail is everywhere. I am bummed right now........... :( I will do a better inspection when the rain, thunder and lightning stops.
Right now I am stuck at the library in a HAIL storm. Hail the size of walnuts. I am freeking about my garden, lambs, chickens.......

No photos yet. I am diligently working on the weeds. In between I have to harvest. Tomorrow I work all day but Wed. I hope to get the weeding finished and then photos. :D
After a week of grinding at other people's gardens I realize I am in the weeds. They are everywhere. I was thinking of having a Tea & Weed. Asking the volunteers that have signed up for the tour as my help to come over to help weed with a little tea party. Would this be out of line?

Here is a sneak peek at what is growing.
I am sure that by the garden tour things may change. A crop or two harvested and a new one in its place. Strawberry season has been the best one yet. Lets hope it is that way with every crop.
Today was picture day. I had a photographer come by to take pics for the booklet and newspaper for the tour. I am kinda bummed that things are not further along. If any are posted on the blog I will let you all know.
So you used 8 cups for a 5 cup recipe. If it were me I would throw it all back in the pot and add 2 1/2 cups of sugar and a package of pectin. Did you put lemon juice in? If not, I would add a squeeze. The acid helps the pectin to set. The only bummer is you can't reuse the lids. I am not...
