Probably not too strange for you homesteader types. I always loved fish eggs from fresh water fish.And plain fried chicken livers.

Daylilies all settled down for a cold winter's nap.

This is from 2 sweet potato plants. A few others were already eaten from this digging. I wish the photo showed how big they really are. There are 2 giants, each serve 2. Three medium, service for 1, and a hand full of small but delicious potatoes. Taking a break and then will go and dig some more.
