believe it or not.. i got my kennebecs from walmart.. they are growing like crazy.. the 5lb bag cost $6 I only planted like 1/3 of the bag.. and I planted them close.. and am hilling them like crazy.. I ended up giving the rest to 3 different people.

at our county extention office we had a vegtable workshop and they said both ways.. I dont think that they are shallow but they root more like a potato.. creating more roots if the stem is covered.. I think that they maintain the first roots .. I havent dug one up to make sure .. as for...

OK .. so I figure that I need to do some major planting in like end of october beg of september.. for my cold weather crop veggies.. I hope I am right on with this one.. but our "cold weather" starts like in jan-feb... so our cooler growing weather would be like nov dec and beg of jan...

ya.. what they said.. but as a testimony .. the uploads button is pretty easy.. after you have uploaded there is a little My Uploads at the bottom right corner of the box.. That is where you find them after you uploaded them.. (I couldnt find them for a while)

I am not in anyway shape or form at expert.. but I buried at least %50 of my plant.. the larger ones had really deep holes.. the smaller seedlings that I planted were normal size holes. and all seem to be doing well..
