Ok so I called my county extention office and he wasnt much help. but he wasnt the citrus guy... I will call the citrus expert on another day..
but I will ask here..
I want to plant some citrus trees..
I do have the types that are suitable for my area.. so that is not the question..
But...
I LOVE IT!!!
you give me so many ideas.. I will have to try and draw my little back yard.. we have sooo many ideas that we want to do.. we need tons of money dirt and time.. well I have some of the dirt and all of the time LOL
I will try a one gallon.. :thumbsup
I know I have been bad.. my poor little tomato starts have prob grown as big as they can.. but I have been working 12 hour days.. I am off this weekend so I will plant mine this weekend.. and then chime in with results..
this one did work.. hey seeds still great....
I can start mine in december.. LOL..
ya got to think they have all those tomatos that they take the seeds out of.. they have to do something with them.. mise well do something good!
if I remember correctly you posted something on BYC about the "map" of your yard..
would you post it again.. Believe it or not it really inspired me to use more of my yard.. using up more and more space..
one question.. we have a septic system and were told not to grow over the drain...
i just used welded wire fencing.. you know the 2x4 squares.. and I had a bunch of landscaping timbers lying around.. it isnt in the ground super strong.. but it has kept the dog and the chickens out for the most part.. the kids leave the door open.. and then we have a chicken problem...
I used landscaping timbers..
I am very glad that I did.. because I used a yard stick cut up and written on with a sharpie as plant markers.. and literally one that I put in last week I pulled out and it had termites all over it .. the part that was stuck in the dirt was half way gone...
I was wondering.. and have been waitning.. for whomever it was.. I cant seem to remember that had the GIANT marigolds??
does anyone remember who that was?
Hey calling VFEM .... calling VFEM... here is your strawberry solution..
I studied the pics and I think that they have either a soaker hose or another hard but smaller PVC with holes that runs up and down the length for watering..
I am going to make one of these.... then I am going to...
sounds like we are in the same boat all around LOL
No i didnt get them from arborday..
I got them from this guy a bit farther out in the country..
it was an add on craigs list.. he planted his own orchard and then sold off the rest.. aparently he had to order enough for free shipping...
