I have two LGD's and have just found out that people actually purchase their winter undercoats to spin into yarn or do "felting" with. I really don't know a thing about either one.
All I know is they have fur that looks like wool. Just looking to get some more knowledge on the subject...
UGHHHH! :idunno I just don't get it. I was so sure that they had been falling out. But when we got home last night, the one that we watched hatch the night before was under the hen dead.
So currently 1 hen with 1 thriving chick walking around and loving life.

Seeds are easy to drop. I have two random sunflowers growing in the bed where my tomatoes and peppers are. I know I did not plant them there. So either I dropped some seeds or a birds flew over and dropped some seeds. I like those surprises!

That looks great Monty! I feel your pain with the Rosemary. I was doing ok bringing mine in over the winter and it was looking pretty good. Then I went to water it one day....BUGS!!! Aaaaahhhhhh :hit outside into the freezing temps it went.
