I passed for fear that they'd do phenomenally well and I'd want to plant that variety again. The picture was of a red tomato. That narrows it down, huh? :lol:
I haven't been aiming to plant any garlic at all actually, so I would certainly not have any problems waiting for a more opportune time to plant.
They are frost-hardy I gather?

And yes, the directions on these said to plant each clove separately.
Reminds me of a crepe myrtle, with the blooms on the end of the branch like that. but the flowers anywhere even close to right.

I second wifezilla. The purple hue underneath the leaves remind me of a nutrient deficiency that my broccoli had (I think it was magnesium).
One foliar feeding with fish emulsion and the next leaves were bright and green again.
I sure hope the black soldier flies find their way into my compost pile again this year. I have never seen anything make such quick work of food scraps.
And from what I've read, black soldier flies do not tolerate your standard houseflies being in the same area. If memory serves me correctly...
