In answer to my own question....;) turns out here in NM we have the opposite problem-our soil is actually alkaline (someone lied to me!). So into the compost the limes and oranges go!!!

I know we have kind of acidoc soil...how about composting citrus? Can it be a problem?

We have a small bush, and each year it blooms and gives my favorite flower...but only for about a week. Is there anything I can do to prolong/increase the amount of blooms on these delightful little bushes?

I don't. they are in the spare room, with a south facing window. I was planning on leaving them in there for a while, then hardening them off when it gets closer to planting.
