I found my tomatoes!!!! :weee So I'm doing those, some foxglove, daisies... I forget what else. I also found a boot shaped container at Lowes. It was only $30 and it's HEAVY and BIG. :D
I just spent a good three, three and a half hours examining my Sunset Western Garden book, cutting pictures out of magazines and taping them inside a garden journal. And of course, I wrote notes next to each picture (what variety it is, where I should plant it, etc).
I see all these great ideas...
You're probably right, Steve. BB and I have exceptional weather so we're lucky. Hey Shelly, what are you planting today?
But no kidding... Come on, folks! At least say hi! We aren't scary... :gig
Did you get the seeds? Did ya did ya did ya? Great piece of property you guys have there... and you should have heard me trying to explain to my grandma how I met you and how we're all connected. :barnie "I know her from a forum" just doesn't make sense to her....
Cool!

It really depends on what the horses are fed, though. Some people feed supplemental feeds, like grains or grasses, that will pass through...
Wow! You guys got a lot done!! Still a lot of work to do, though.

I'm doing tomatillos (not a tomato, I know, but flavorful nonetheless) and Heatwave tomatoes, which is a hybrid that does great out here. If you can get your hands on them, I would try Sun Gold, which is just like a cherry tomato but golden in color. They are delicious... very flavorful and very...
Pat's right... I've found that my best information comes from many different places: books, other people, online. Do what you think is best and if it doesn't work out, better luck next year!
