in january i try to make a mental note of where all my clumps of snowdrops are so i can remember to divide them later. and i cut my grapevine back (sometimes).
Joe, you could probably just send me the top of the rooted one in a padded envelope and i could root it myself. cut down on some postage? we are pretty close, i think it would make it here in rootable condition? what do you think? i hate for you to spend money mailing dirt.
on a similar note...
its definitely a sago palm or at least one of the closely related cycads. sagos are the most popular so its probably one of those. and my pups had teeth, i promise.
wow joe those are nice!
i started a bunch of cypress trees in recycled styrafoam cups a year or two ago and i went out one day and my chickens had eaten all of the cup-pots off of my trees!
home depot here does the credit thing. they have racks of dying plants outside but you cant buy them or rescue them.
lowes on the other hand has amazing plants for nothing. i usually go right before it gets cold and pick up 9 dollar sago palms for 1$. if i buy anything anymore, i get it off...
