Ok here is an update. 3 of the pods with beans went moldy. I believe its because they are from 2007 and the elements got to them. So far they are sprouting well and one of them is already getting true leaves. Here is a pic of the root system going into the water

If you plan on staying there for a while you may be able to start some cuttings. That's what I plan to do with our apricot tree.
