I took pics of the herb garden since the salad has not popped up yet since it was just planted yesterday. Customer service shipped out my free salad greens kit fast. The tomatoes and salad was my fault since I have to use distilled water for their nutrients. The 3 part liquid one I used from...
I am sorry I did not get back to you sooner. It was almost like that. It was a 100 gallon upright tank with 2 liter bottles surrounding it. Each one had a herb or a veggie in the bottle halves and the fish waste water went into the bottles to give the plants all natural nutrients.
You should of added these people :)

Same here hoodat.. Lets say this law does pass where no one can grow, produce, eat or sell produce. What about people like me who do indoor hydroponics? How can they catch indoor growers?
Well I got some bad news. The tomato kit died on me yesterday and aerogardens customer service replaced it. I found another con. You need to use distilled water in order for the nutrients to work. I will make a 3rd update once the new comes in and I am using distilled water...
Of course and thank you for the input :) I am just using it for seedlings. I have a 65 gallon tank my wife brought here and I may turn it into a hydroponic for my veggies.
If you say its good enough then I will use them. What scared me was all the credit card theft posts. I double read and made sure they were not owned by monsanto. If I do order from Johny's I will be sending a check or money order :)
Reading a couple sites it says its safe to use on non-edible plants. The water has dirt particles and can also harbor bacteria and mildew organisms.
ETA; I found this site but I still dont know if I would use it for veggies or greens.
