I do not know if anyone knows this but the christmas tree shop has seeds on sale. I dont know how much they are in your area but you can give them a call. Almost all the seeds are organic and they sell every kind there is. Veggies, greens, perennials and annuals. :)
Its probably more then that. We caught a deal at the "Christmas Tree Shop". They had thousands of packets of seeds their for less than $1.00 a pack. We picked up a mix of veggies, greens, annuals and perennials. Plus I spent over $80.00 on ebay on seeds. I am going to have to buy some more...
Lol. I did hear problems with the tomatoes so I will see if they grow for me. We had the last of the green beans last night in a stir-fry and they were delicious :). I am done using the liquid nutrients for now since I want them for the seed starter tray.
Looking in the yard at the dead tomato stems and dreading winter. Can we just skip winter and go to spring ;)
I planted salad greens and cherry tomatoes in my aerogardens. Got about 50,000 seeds to plant next year and I hope we get a bigger yield then this past summer.
No reply's on this post LOL. I potted up the marigolds and decided to do some salad greens. No sprouts yet for the maters but will post a pic when they do.
I like that poem a lot! Its very true indeed. Sad thing is when we see the news and see people protesting at the soldiers funeral with signs saying "thank God, Another soldier dead". Makes me sick that these people can do this. And even after this soldier died protecting our freedom.
Thank you...
Well with the green beans being a success. I decided to do a new kit. This one is cherry tomatoes (Non-GMO) actually all the kits are non-GMO when I read the sides of the boxes. I am going to use the tablets that came with the garden and not the liquid nutrients that I purchased from another...
We got some areogarden for $30.00 and they work great. they are hydroponics. I also saw a setup the put me in complete awe. It was a tank with plants above it and everything was lush and green.
McIntosh apples. I grew up on them and we have a tree in front of our house. They are delicious any way you eat them. My grandmother used to make apple pies with them. She has a tree on her property. They are superb :)
I have a mixture of white and red rose of sharon seeds. They could be mixed colors because they were a few feet from each other. I will send out 1 teaspoon full of seeds. I dont know how much seed I have but I got more harvesting to do. Willing to trade for mater seeds, bell peppers, pole beans...
@Digit I am 2 years old LOL not 5
@Vfem - I know! My eyes lit up when I got them. The kits are
Salsa kit
Chili kit
Salad kit
International basil kit
Fancy herbs
And the kicker is the Aerogardens come with seed kits :D
Phone was charged enough to show the surprise. Someone knew about my aerogarden fetish. 4 Aerogarden's and at least 12 boxed of pods. So now my aerogarden total is 6 aerogarden's! LOL
