Been a little while. Picture from the greenhouse from weekend before last.

Typically they have them at Lowes and Home Depot. The Acrylic are the best but kind of pricey. I used the PVC. It may not last as long on the roof but should have decent life.

Been building the long bench today as well as heat from the house. We typically have excess heat from our wood burning insert. Still got end benches, vent hardware, door threshold & hardware, and misc trim to do. Then I'll start modifying stuff :).

Well.....hunting season, Christmas, work, and I think everything else has gotten in the way of finishing the greenhouse. Getting close though. Will be great for seedlings and lettuce this winter season.

I'm covering with transparent Panels. We heat primarily with wood and have excess heat so I'll duct some to it too. Forgot earlier too, we've had lettuce all summer!

It's been a while since I've posted, been really busy. Wanted to thank everyone that helped me last spring. We had a bumper crop of green beans, okra, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers , and 3 types of peppers. We have more than a freezer full. Also in the final stages of building a 7x12 greenhouse.

I've only had a few tiny spears from one plant sprout. Getting concerned

It should definitely take over! Just plant a fair amount to begin with.

Anyone in N Arkansas or S Missouri have asparagus sprouting yet? I'm afraid mine might have gotten whacked by the cold this winter.

Skeeter I was just lucky I have allot of seedlings this year that I started from seeds I saved from last year.

Put out 4 tomato, 2 Banana peppers, 2 Bell pepper, and 2 Jalapeños today. Covered to protect from frost for a couple of weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have more plants than I have room for!

I may also end up with frozen tomato and pepper plants. I'm in a gambling mood though.

I got my sprinkler heads back out this weekend and plan to start putting some plants out the first weekend in April. Hope I won't be "jumping the gun".

Sprout plants are looking good. Mine are about a month old now and hoping they will do good this year as I've never tried them before.
