    I'm new here so I don't know if I'm posting in the right forum. I have an old apple & pear orchard that I just cleaned out. It took several months of non stop work and the trees are MUCH bigger than they should be. They are completely out of control and have probably been totally neglected...

    Thanks for the welcome Ridgerunner. Good advise, I'll give it a try. I know what you mean about the corn color. My Grandson saw some that was actually red. I was told it stayed red even after cooking. He thought that was "awesome".
